Arthritis Walk, Support team Caralyn

A good friend of Junedale.com posted this:

May 17th downtown at the serpentine wall is the annual arthritis walk. my wife and I got involved in this when our baby Caralyn was diagnosed with chronic rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 12 months. Now she's five years old and still battling juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. We sponsor team Caralyn and are trying to put together some fund raising in her name for the cause. The walk is a good time for anyone who is interested. Sponsors provide a nice selection of food and refreshments after the walk. The U.C. football team is usually there along with some local celebrities. Any support would be appreciated either by attending the event or financial support.

The event features a three-mile and one-mile course, with arthritis information and activities for the entire family. In many communities, pet owners are invited to bring their dogs along for the walk.
